Returns & Cancellations

At Custom by Local Laundry, every item is uniquely crafted to your specifications. Our return policy is aligned with our print-on-demand fulfillment partner to ensure sustainability and quality.

Defects & Misprints (Strict Liability)

We stand behind our quality. If you receive a product that is misprinted, damaged, or defective, we will cover the cost of a replacement.

Time Limit: Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received.

Please submit a claim through our Contact form with photos of the defect. We generally do not require you to return the defective item, though we reserve the right to request it for quality assurance verification.

Buyer's Remorse & Size Exchanges

Because each product is custom printed for you, we do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse or size exchanges. A new order would need to be placed for an updated size.

We provide detailed size charts on every product page to help you make the right choice.

EU Right of Withdrawal Exemption

According to Article 16(c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized. Therefore, Custom by Local Laundry reserves rights to refuse returns at its sole discretion for these items.

Cancellations

We work quickly to get your custom order into the production queue.

Cancellation Window

Made in Canada: You may request a cancellation or modification (size/address) within 24 hours of purchase. After this window, materials are allocated to the batch and the order is final.

International (POD): Our systems are automated to begin production almost immediately. We cannot guarantee the ability to cancel an order once placed. If you need to make a change, please contact us immediately.
